  • Where you are contacting Pledge to speak to our Solutions team or for any other enquiry, the ability to respond to your communication efficiently and effectively with you.
  • Where you are applying for a Pledge job role, the ability to effectively analyze your suitability for that role and the quality of your application, and for us to communicate effectively with you. We may also keep these details on record so that we can keep you in mind for future opportunities.

We do not and will not provide any of your personal or business information to other companies or individuals without your specific request and permission, apart from as specified below. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Information What we collect
We record the basic information provided by your web browser when you access our website. This information is technical and does not contain sensitive personal details.
This might include: your IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page aggregate access trends to provide a better browsing experience.

General enquires
When you register your contact details with us, we may collect the following information: Name and Job title, Contact information including email address, telephone numbers, company, address, preferences, requirements and interests. Our legitimate interest in this information is so that we can contact you in order to respond to queries in the most efficient and effective way. When contacting us, you are also able to upload a document with your enquiry. This document should not include any personal information or sensitive data.
Where the “Live Chat” functionality is available, we will also collect any personal information you provide to us while using that functionality. This functionality enables you to message a member of staff, so that they can answer your queries and provide information in real-time.  Our legitimate interest in retaining this information is to enable fluid communication, and for quality and assurance purposes.

What we do with the information we gather

General enquiries
We require this information to communicate with you, provide you a demonstration of our tools, and to provide you with a better service. In particular, we require this information for the following reasons:

Information provided by third parties

Use of your personal information

  3. When you use the Services, we may employ clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons) which are used to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. No personally identifiable information from your account(s) is collected using these clear gifs. In addition, we may also use clear gifs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients. The information is used to enable more accurate reporting, improve the effectiveness of our marketing and other analytical and strategic development purposes.

Sharing your personal information
Pledge Software will not rent or sell your personally identifiable information to others. We may disclose your personal information to:

  1. Other users. Your profile is visible to other users of our services and may also be accessible via search engine listings, such as Google. If you do not wish certain information to be viewed by others, you may be able to edit your profile information by changing your account settings.
  2. Other companies within the Pledge Software group of companies;
  3. Our business partners, including our affiliate publishers, so that they can send you marketing communications (where this is in accordance with your marketing preferences);

Linked websites
The Website and/or the Services may contain links to other websites which are outside our control and are not covered by this Privacy Policy. If you access other websites using the links provided, the operators of these websites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours. You should always read the privacy policy of any website you visit carefully.

Deleting or removing your personal information
Any personal information or User Content that you voluntarily disclose while creating an account on the Website and while using the Services becomes available to the other users of the Services and our business partners. User Content includes, but is not limited to, reviews and comments. If you remove any User Content, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other users have copied or stored your User Content.
Pledge Software takes reasonable measures to keep messages that you send to other users of the Services private between you and the recipient. However, even if you have deleted the message from your inbox or outbox, copies of the message may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other users have copied or stored the message.

Your rights
You have a right to access the personal information we hold about you (which may be subject to a fee specified by law). Our rights
Pledge Software reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor the User Content you post on its services. Pledge Software has the right to remove any such information or material for any reason or no reason, including without limitation, if in its sole opinion, such information or material violates, or may violate, any applicable law or our Terms of Use Agreement or to protect or defend its rights or property or those of any third party. Pledge Software also reserves the right to remove information upon the request of any third party.

From time to time we may update this Privacy Policy. When we do we will publish the revised Privacy Policy on the Website.
